The mission of besummoned

Birtday parties, fishing trips, football games, or a simple get-together with friends and colleagues. I created besummoned to make it easy to jot down some event information and share it with others in seconds.

The de facto solution for hosting events is to send out a calendar invite or create a Facebook event. I believe it can be done better. Also, Facebook is not exactly an amazing place, so I wanted an alternative.
